Me, you and a wiener!!!! I know, your thinking what?? I'm getting to that, I promise I have a point! You know what I love about being young and just starting out, not to mention broke? Its that you have to be creative. Come on, I know you have to remember those days. I miss them and I am truly inspired by some of what I see out there. Bri over at Me, you and a wiener is officially the queen of DIY's! She can take something that is nothing and turn it into something fabulous. Makes me wonder why you would ever want to pay full price for something just for a name when you can do the same thing Bri does! Talk about a Chic Streak!! Here are a few of my fav's! She is my kinda girl!!! Do we have any DIYer's out there? If so I want to hear from you, what's your latest project?

Death of an era!!!!

This was not my intended post for today but I'm sad! The last of Hollywood royalty is gone with the death of Elizabeth Taylor this morning. I just loved watching old movies with my mother as I was growing up. Dame Elizabeth was always one of my favorites. The way she carried herself and the clothes she wore was just too perfect and she made you proud to be a woman! I feel as though this officially makes me old (which, by the way, is something I will nevah be)!!! So as we bid adieu...here are some of my fav's!

Spring = Cleaning???

How can that be?? But alas, its true! Actually, its probably the only time any of us really like to clean. So its time to purge, get rid of, garage sale or whatever it is that you do with all that accumulation. Its amazing how much STUFF we do accumulate isn't it?! So lets start with me favorite...closet's! I love closets and these are some of my dream closets. Oh what I wouldn't do to have one of these!!! What's your idea of a dream closet...anybody out there got one? If so please let me know because I'd love to feature it here!

Spring Has Sprung!!!

At least I hope so. down here in the south our spring always starts in March/April. We do usually have a cold spell around Easter but its still spring. Tyler has a fantastic Azalea Trails coming up and if you've never seen it you just don't know what your missing...but I'll do a post on that later. All this springyness has me thinking about outdoors...gardens, flowerbeds, outdoor rooms, patios, porches...you get the jist! I absolutely love some of these and I have always wanted an outdoor bedroom! What do you think...any plans for you outdoor area? I'm really wanting to work outside today!!

Happy St Pat's Day!!

First of all, I am so sorry for the long hiatus that I took. I was sick for what seem's like forever and have been playing catch up ever since! Hopefully thats all behind me now and I can get back to regular post. So I thought in honor of St Patricks Day we would look at a little green. I'm not really a green person but some of these rooms are great. One thing I definitely am is shoes and those are great little green loubatins...sigh!! Did you wear your green today? What's everyone's plans for celebrating??

Wild Wednesday!!

Its Wild Wednesdays...and you know what that means...wild about color!! How about REDS today! Red use to be my signature color and kind of still is. I have had red bathrooms, red bedrooms, and lets not forget your staple (around here anyway) red dining roooms! Of course there were other colors mixed in because I'm just not sure I could handle all red. Take a look at some of these and let me know what you think! Some I could totally live with, other's not so much! Never the less, you have to admire anyone that can go with all out red! Last but not least, who can resist a fabulous pair of Loubatin heels with their signature red soles?! Not me but of course at $900 I'll have to buy some look alikes and paint the soles red myselfy!!!! Do you have a signature color?
