Wild Wednesday!!

Its Wild Wednesdays...and you know what that means...wild about color!! How about REDS today! Red use to be my signature color and kind of still is. I have had red bathrooms, red bedrooms, and lets not forget your staple (around here anyway) red dining roooms! Of course there were other colors mixed in because I'm just not sure I could handle all red. Take a look at some of these and let me know what you think! Some I could totally live with, other's not so much! Never the less, you have to admire anyone that can go with all out red! Last but not least, who can resist a fabulous pair of Loubatin heels with their signature red soles?! Not me but of course at $900 I'll have to buy some look alikes and paint the soles red myselfy!!!! Do you have a signature color?

Let the sun shine in!!!

Ok...been sick! That so stinks!!! Especially since we are having the most beautiful weather around here. Windy, but the sun is shining and spring is here! Of course that actually makes being sick even worse! So thought I'd bring the sunshine in...hope you enjoy them as much as I did. They made me smile and that ultimately made me feel better! Tulips are my favorite flower! Love the pink shades on those blue and white lamps, would not have thought of that one! The cottages and bright colors make me want to be outside in a garden or just sitting with a big ole glass of sweet tea reading under a shade tree! you know us southerner's make the best ever sweet tea! What makes you smile, what's your idea of spring, what do you do to feel better?

Princess and the pea!!

Wow...we actually had about 5 inches of snow on the ground when we got up this morning! I know you guy's get tired of us southerner's whining and crying about the weather but we just can't help it. We're all at home today and since its so cold I can stay curled up in the bed with all my fluffy covers, laptop and a big ole cup of hot chi tea! Later this afternoon I'll move on to hot chocolate...yummy!!! But the point would be, that I don't have to leave the comfort of my own bed! So let's talk about beds...that's the one thing I think you should NEVER scrimp on. Always buy at least 300 thread count linens and did I mention pillows? Lots of pillows!!! It doesn't mean expensive either. You can pick up sales at all the stores and you can shop Marshall, TJMax and Ross and get excellent deals on fantastic bedding. My idea of the perfect bed probably stems from when I was a little girl and would spend the night with Grandmother. She had a four poster bed and it seemed so big and fluffy. You had to climb in to it and then the whole thing just seemed to envelop you in comfort. You'd sink down and pull those soft warm covers up around you and it was like sleeping in the clouds! The only thing that could make this better for me would be a fireplace in here! Here are a few of my fav's!! Whats your idea of a perfect bed or bedroom? I am always looking for new fabulous finds for bed and bath...suggestion's or comments anyone?
