And the crown goes to...

Me, you and a wiener!!!! I know, your thinking what?? I'm getting to that, I promise I have a point! You know what I love about being young and just starting out, not to mention broke? Its that you have to be creative. Come on, I know you have to remember those days. I miss them and I am truly inspired by some of what I see out there. Bri over at Me, you and a wiener is officially the queen of DIY's! She can take something that is nothing and turn it into something fabulous. Makes me wonder why you would ever want to pay full price for something just for a name when you can do the same thing Bri does! Talk about a Chic Streak!! Here are a few of my fav's! She is my kinda girl!!! Do we have any DIYer's out there? If so I want to hear from you, what's your latest project?

Wild About Weddings!!!

Lately I've got weddings on the brain. My son and my brother are getting married. The son next year and the brother in July of this year. While my son is planning a destination wedding, my brother is not, and I still can't help but contemplate what we would do if he wasn't. Besides that, I LOVE those dressy dress's and the whole wedding planner thing! So...I've been looking and planning and here's some of what I've found! I love, love, love BHLDN! I love the fact that their a little different and vintagey, they are to die for! It would make the cutest little wedding adventure! Hope you enjoy and if any of you need help planning...I'm available! Just call me the wannabe wedding planner!

Spring Has Sprung!!!

Tyler has a fantastic Azalea Trails coming up and if you've never seen it you just don't know what your missing...but I'll do a post on that later. All this springyness has me thinking about outdoors...gardens, flowerbeds, outdoor rooms, patios, porches...you get the jist! I absolutely love some of these and I have always wanted an outdoor bedroom! What do you think...any plans for you outdoor area? I'm really wanting to work outside today!!

Let the sun shine in!!!

Ok...been sick! That so stinks!!! Especially since we are having the most beautiful weather around here. Windy, but the sun is shining and spring is here! Of course that actually makes being sick even worse! So thought I'd bring the sunshine in...hope you enjoy them as much as I did. They made me smile and that ultimately made me feel better! Tulips are my favorite flower! Love the pink shades on those blue and white lamps, would not have thought of that one! The cottages and bright colors make me want to be outside in a garden or just sitting with a big ole glass of sweet tea reading under a shade tree! you know us southerner's make the best ever sweet tea! What makes you smile, what's your idea of spring, what do you do to feel better?

Something to brighten this gloomy day!!

As soon as Pantone's released this years color as Honeysuckle it was popping up all over the place. I don't know about you guy's, but when I think of honeysuckle its not pink, its yellow! Guess that's because that's the color of the little flower I was seeing growing up. Apparently I was wrong! I'm a lover of pink but most people, men in general, are not going to have that in their den or bedroom. its a cute little girls color. I think it would work if you use it sparingly or as an accent color. I thought since its so cold and so drearily gray out there we'd play with color. Here are a few of things honeysuckle! I could live in some of these rooms, how about you? What do you think of them? Oh...and end it all with a great little pink polish, which I would so use right now if I had it!!
