Pink for October!!!

We all should know by now that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! I doubt there's anyone out there that hasn't been affected by this disease. I know I have, besides having friends that have survived it, I have a cousin that did not...a male cousin! Most of us don't think about that one do we?! He fought a brave battle for 6 years and at a time when it was still somewhat of a rarity for men to have it. Makes my heart heavy to this day!! So in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness and in loving memory of Wayne McCaslin we will celebrate pink everyday of October!!!

I'm Hooked!!!!

Okie dokie...its official!!! All this blogging and pinning on Pinterest has got me hook, line and sinker for junking!  I mean totally obsessed! If I'm not pinning, I'm researching estate sales and garage sales and wanting to stop at every Goodwill with in a 200 mile radius! So last night I ran across a sight called estatesales.net. OH MY!!! They had some seriously cool stuff on there! Some of it just brought back very fond memories of a bygone era and some of it is possibly to die for!! Am I the only junkie junker out there? Who's with me.....????

Let their be light...by chandelier of course!!!

One of the things I hate about living in Texas is that you have to have a ceiling fan in every room and I'm not kidding. Especially this year, the heat has been unbearable. I love a great chandy and if it was up to me I'd have one in every room, even outdoors! Love some of these, whimsical, fancy schmancy, creative, unusual...love them all! I could post all day and night about this, but I guess I better save some for later! You can always follow me on Pinterest and see even more! I am hooked on both of those things! What do you think...??

Loving This Living Room!!!

Give Away at Decor Chick

While I hate to have to share this one with anyone because I would really like to own this baby, I am! Only because its required! Not that I don't love you guy's but...yes, I am being greedy and selfish! I have client's that use these and swear by them. I've been saying I was going to get one for about a year now and still don't have one! Decor Chick, one of my fav blogger's, is giving one away. Now That's What I'm Talking About!!!

Skooter and I, for those of you that don't know that's Reagen's nick name, like to take road trips. We love, love, love a magical mystery tour. We never worry about getting lost or turned around because you never know what you might find. Some of our best shopping has been from a wrong turn! We love the difference in scenery, architecture, and we adore history! Don't get me wrong now, flying's great as far as time frame goes...but you miss out on so much of real life! Our world is full of so much beauty and we let it slip through our fingers because we're in such a hurry. Our last trip, to Beaufort, South Carolina and we drove it straight through! I'm too old for that, actually Skoot thinks she's too old for that too! Anyway...I told her we needed to get a camper! HA!!! Me and camping don't normally go in the same sentence together. My idea of roughing it, is Holiday Inn if you know what I mean! I don't know that I could really do that but after seeing this little cutie, I'd seriously consider it! Her name is Audree and she belongs to Tiffany over at The Fancy Farmgirl! Another blog I love! Just look at that group of gal's! I'm nothing but a city girl...but this could be so fun!
